TV Animation Process

Wikipedia defines Animation as the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement. For me it is what classic Disney animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston called: The Illusion of Life.  Basically all it is is drawings and yet if it’s done right you can get lost in it and feel as if the simple sketches you’re watching have come alive; that somewhere in the world the characters exist. It really is magic in some ways. No other medium has so many broad styles, genres, and personality as animation.
